2011 Lincoln Blackwood

For those that are looking for a great mix of luxury and the ability to be versatile, then they should look no further than the 2011 Lincoln Blackwood. This vehicle can be compared to the likes of the Escalade or the Denali, making it a great vehicles for those with a family. 

Engine wise the Blackwood is equipped with a V8, 5.4 liter engine that is going to give around 300 horsepower. They are going to find that gas mileage wise they are getting on average 17 miles per gallon on the highway and 12 miles per gallon in the city. Standard transmission includes a four speed automatic. 

The Blackwood is going to seat for people in the four door pickup, however, most people are a little disappointed that they are only going to get one trim, which is the Luxury Utility Vehicles. There has been many changes made to the vehicle since 2003 that have enabled it to compete better with the competition and make people want it more. 

One of the most notable features about the vehicle that they have changed is the security features that are in place. The drive and feel of the vehicle is going to make it much easier to control on the road, and add in the fact that there are more safety features make it more likely to be the choice that you choose when you want something for yourself to haul the family in.

Some of the more notable features that were found while reviewing the car was that the passenger room is nice and plenty of it, meaning that the passengers are going to be more comfortable. This is something that was surprising, as most cars and trucks these days are not allowing for more passenger room. In addition, while driving the Blackwood you are going to notice a nice and silent ride that is what you have come to expect from Lincoln, seeing as it is a luxury brand.
