2011 Hyundai Elantra

The Hyundai Elantra has always been a good selling car for Hyundai, and it would seem that the model that they are offering for the year of 2011 is going to be one of those that consumers are going to love. And with all the models that people are having to choose from when they are wanting a car that is in entry level sedan market, more and more people are choosing the 2011 Hyundai Elantra. The question is why? Years past, the Elantra was not something to brag about to friends, however, the car company has made it to where the Elantra is one that they are going to want for the long haul.

The outside of the new Elantra has been praised by some and then tore apart by others, it seems to be one of those aspects that you either love it or hate it. However, with that being said, more and more people are surprised that the Elantra has been able to redefine the image of the Elantra. They have used more curves and lines in the exterior of the car to make it stand out against the crowd. Something that needed to be done in order to make the car something that people were wanting to buy. However, with this being said, the real reason that many people are flocking to the car now is the fact that the interior is winning their interest.

Inside, the Elantra, people are going to find the most changes. No longer does the interior look cheap as though it was put together by children in a lego style fashion. The materials are rich and the colors are two toned, giving it even more depth. When comparing this to other cars that are in the same category, the Elantra interior is steps above the rest. However, there are a few downfalls that consumers should be aware of before they run out and buy one of these cars, and these downfalls may be the reason that the car does not sell as well as it could.

The steering of the Elantra is something that most testers are quick to point out. The steering requires that the person always have their hands on the wheel and adjusting. When taking a curve, the car does not hold to the curve, meaning that people are always having to adjust the wheel. For many this could lead to over correcting and possible accidents. In addition, the braking is by no means superior to the other cars that are in the category of the Elantra. People are going to find that the acceleration is sub par to say the least, with taking around nine seconds to reach sixty miles per hour from zero. Though, it is pretty normal for the range of vehicles that are included in this category, but still not enough to turn many heads.

Overall, for the price of the Elantra, people are getting more luxury than if they are buying from the other cars that are in the same category. However, the person should be certain that they test drive this and put it through the ringer in order to make sure that the driving of the car is going to meet their liking.
