Automotive Industry Still Unsure of Success

The US auto industry is still not in the clear according to many of those that are involved in the auto industry. A recent survey found that many of the automakers who have increased their sales in the past year are still not comfortable with the position that the auto industry is in. This is coming as a surprise to many as most people are noting that all the industry seems to talk about nowadays is how well that they are doing. However, most automakers are pointing out that the auto makers are going to have a rough two years ahead of them, in which they may or may not make it. Those that are confident that they are going to make it are always on the look out for acquisitions that they can make for those auto makers that are ready to throw in the towel. 

But what is it that these automakers are worried about? One of the things is the fact that the consumer market are wanting a car that is more fuel friendly. For those companies that are not producing these types of vehicles, then they are going to find that they are unable to compete with those that are. The simple answer is to produce some of these vehicles, however, unless the company has the funds and the engineers that can produce such vehicles, then they are out of luck. 

Secondly, more and more US automakers are worried about the competition that the Chinese are offering. It is no secret that China has become the world's leading auto market, taking that title away from the United States big three automakers. So US automakers are worried about finding their way in a world that they no longer dominate. 

So what can these automakers do? Right now it seems to be that they should be putting forth their best effort and just hoping for the best. So far, they have performed well, so we can only hope that this will continue.
