Cruze Being Recalled
Everyone knows that the GM Cruze is probably one of the companies biggest sellers right now. However, the news that GM announced in which they are recalling 154,000 of these vehicles may have many people wondering if they should buy one of these or not. After all, no one wants to deal with a car that is going to be riddled with problems. GM is recalling these vehicles in order to check the steering, it is not clear yet whether they have a problem or not. The automatic Cruze's that are being recalled are also going to have their transmission checked to ensure that there are no leaks.
GM has assured people that they do not believe that there is a problem with the steering shaft or the transmission in any of the vehicles that they are recalling, however, they are doing this just as a step towards caution. They do not want people to be driving these and have something go wrong with them. And this is going to save everyone some heartache and headaches later down the road.
The company has made many changes to the current way that it builds its vehicles in order to make sure that these types of problems are not occurring. The affected vehicles were manufactured at the plant in Lordstown, Ohio.
The Cruze was the second best selling vehicles for GM, since the price of gas has risen in huge leaps and bounds over the past several months. And the company has not had any real problems with the vehicles that they have produced, which speaks to the high quality of what they are producing right now. Many people are concerned that with the recall the sale of the Cruze is going to decrease. However, considering the fact that there has been no accidents or injuries associated with the recall, then more than likely people are not going to hold this against the manufacturer.
