Debut of 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8

One of the vehicles that is going to be offered by Jeep in 2012, is already making many people buzz about just how much they want this vehicle. At the New York Auto Show the stunning Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 was debuted, and many people could not help, but to stop and gawk at what Jeep has come up with. People are going to still immediately know that they are dealing with a Jeep. Actually in looks, it is very similar to the 2011 models. However, the company took what the consumer market was saying, such as how they wanted a better ride, better fuel economy and the exhaust system and they added these aspects into the Jeep.

The company has pointed out that this Jeep is about having a better Jeep, not necessarily faster by any means. Though the performance is something that most people are not going to be complaining about since it is rumored to reach sixty miles per hour in under five seconds. People are going to notice that it now has dual exhaust pipes poking out at the side, giving it a more sportier appearance. However, the main difference is in the ride of the Jeep.

They have been able to take some of the weight of the Jeep and make it more centered on the back tires. Now, the tires are all running at different weights, with the front end a bit lighter. However, how is this going to help the overall ride quality? All four wheels are going to be able to handle the road better and grip it much better with the torque adjusting to go to these wheels when the need hits. For avoid Jeep drivers this is going to mean feeling as though they are more in control of the Jeep while driving, something that all consumers have been hoping for. One thing is for certain, for 2012, the Grand Cherokee SRT8 is one to keep your eye on.
