Electric Concept to Dominate Future

With the rise of electric cars becoming mainstream in the automaker, professionals are saying that many automakers that are not considered mainstream believe that they will become dominant forces in the future market. However, only time will tell if the public will embrace the concepts, but thus far, hopes are high. 

Next year, Chevrolet plans to release the Equinox, one of their most popular SUV crossovers that will utilize an Amp engine to replace the gasoline engine. Of course, the gasoline engine will still be available for consumers. But, Amp hopes that with this that can also claim a bit of the profits in the electric sector. The plan that Amp is implementing is to allow consumers the option of still having the room that they desire, but reek the benefits of an electric engine. The most obvious choice for Amp to have used was to make the Chevy Cruze electric, however due to its similarities to the Volt, that option was canceled. The Equinox will require quite a few more batteries than the Volt, due to its sheer size. 

In addition, in the Canadian market, Azue Dynamics is going to tackle turning pick up trucks into utilizing electric components.ts. Tesla motors, which is based in the Silicon Valley is also planning to cash in on the electric trend by introducing sports cars that utilize electric batteries. Telsa has already been working with Mercedes to develop electric batteries for many of their models. 

The battle is what many professionals are terming a David and Goliath battle, as the small electric battery manufacturers are trying to overtake those huge companies. However, they are all aiming for the professional market, as they do not foresee the consumer market embracing the changes as much as the companies that can benefit from the electric concept. As the example of the GM Volt and Nissan Leaf show, more companies are turning to these cars to place them in their fleets.
