Ford Making Sure 2012 Focus is Perfect
Ford is determined to make sure that the release of the 2012 Ford Focus is one that is perfect and will always be remembered. And how are they doing this? They are testing each and every model for around 30 miles after it is fresh off the lines to make sure that the car is driving like a dream. These cars are being built in Wayne, Michigan, where they are being tested at the Dearborn track near the area. After testing around the track, the cars are then getting another look over by those that built them in order to ensure that everything is all right.
But what seems to be the big deal about Ford testing each one of these cars before they allow them to be shipped to dealers? The big deal is that no other automakers are doing this, actually the higher end automakers such as Porsche do this with every car that they make. However, for a regular automaker that provides affordable cars, this is something that they simply do not do.
Now that Ford knows that the Focus is going to perform at the level that it is supposed to, the testing of these cars will stop and instead they will be giving a visual inspection before being shipped to dealers. It is unclear just how many Focus cars that they did test drive before declaring the cars perfect and ready to go. However, it is something that most consumers are going to appreciate since it means that they are getting what they are paying for, which is what everyone wants.
One thing is for certain and that is that the consumers of the world will be considered this car that is getting forty miles per gallon on the highway and twenty eight miles per gallon in the city. This is amazing gas mileage and with the gas prices continue to rise and rise, Ford may have a diamond on their hand when it comes to the Focus.
