Ford Recalls 35,000

Yet another recall has been issued for Ford, and has many people wondering just what is going on with the automakers in today's world? Ford is issuing a recall that is going to affect around 35,000 pickup trucks and crossovers. The recall is being issued because there seems to be some sort of fuel issue with the vehicles that is causing a leak and could therefore, lead to the vehicle catching fire.

The remaining vehicles that are being recalled are the F-series pickups, which is the best selling vehicle that Ford has on the market, and the Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX crossovers. The fuel problem with these are not the same as the Rangers. Ford has found that there is an electrical problem with these that are causing shorts that could lead to a fire in the vehicles. Of the F-series, those being recalled is the 150, 250, 350, 450 and 550. All of these crossovers and pickups have been built from mid October 25, 2010 to November 20, 2010.

Thus far, Ford has said that there has been no accidents or deaths associated with the recalls. However, in order to prevent any injuries or deaths from happening, Ford is taking the steps to secure these recalls and have them fixed. Ford is expected to start the recall process and have these vehicles brought into the person's local Ford dealership starting early March.
