Jeep Renegade Gets Face Lift
The 2010 Jeep Liberty Renegade has been given a face lift when compared to past models, and one that consumers seem to be noticing a bit more. However, one part of the Jeep that most professionals are still finding hideous is the black plastic trim and bumper, as many believe that this automatically screams cheap. However, besides this point most of those who have test driven the 2010 Jeep Renegade are saying that it really does an awesome off road feeling while still having comfort and luxury.
Performance wise, professionals are saying that the take off time is a bit sluggish, however, this has always been a characteristic of the Jeep Renegade, no matter how big of an engine that they have. The 2010 Jeep Renegade comes with a V6 engine that is a four speed automatic. Other people felt that the steering of the vehicle was a bit tight, and for some this was a complete turnoff. However, given the tallness of the Jeep, this is to be expected. Many people found that turns were a bit hard to negotiate, but otherwise they found it acceptable and standard for the products that Jeep offers. And since it is four wheel drive, a bit stiffness is to be expected.
The base price for the 2010 Jeep Liberty Renegade is around $28,000. This may seem a bit on the high end, however, those who have received the Liberty Renegade have said that the price is acceptable for all of the features that the Renegade has to offer.
Overall, Jeep has hit the nail square on the head with 2010 Jeep Renegade. They have taken past consumer complaints and put these to good use in the 2010 version, improving upon many of the aspects that people found unacceptable in past models. Plus, as they have improved the appearance to appeal more to those that prefer an off road look, the selling power of the 2010 Renegade should see dramatic increases.
